Memories, like the corners of my mind. I've been thinking about how I have come to love attending concerts and listening to music. One of my earliest memories is listening to The Pointer Sisters full blast and dancing to it in our living room. We also would pull out my parents' old records and listen to ABBA, Chicago, and so many others. I can still hear 25 or 6 to 4 blasting in the basement. Fleetwood Mac was another family favorite. The guitar stylings of Lindsay Buckingham just enthralled me. In High School my curiosity about Classic Rock just exploded. I listened to everything from Crosby, Stills, and Nash to Queen, Pink Floyd and Eric Clapton. I remember watching the Eagle's Hell Freezes Over reunion concert and thinking, "what's the big deal"? After listening to their music and seeing them live, now I know. In a week I'm going to see one of the biggest blues guitarists in this world, Eric Clapton. I'm so excited and really can't believe that it's happening.
